Being arrested and accused of a crime can be overwhelming and may leave a person worried about the impact it will have on their future. Experienced criminal defense attorneys in Pennsylvania can help those who have been charged with a crime navigate the court system and their options within it. A 29-year-old man recently found himself in need of legal assistance after allegedly drunk driving and injuring someone in a car crash.

He allegedly confessed to illegally passing two cars at a stop sign and then running the stop sign. Thereafter, he is said to have crashed his SUV into a sedan that was going through the intersection. Two people were injured in the collision and transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. According to reports, the defendant allegedly failed a sobriety test on site and had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit.

Reports indicate that the accused man already had a record with a DUI and that he was driving under a suspended license. He currently faces multiple charges, two of which are felonies. He posted his bail of $25,000.

While the man may feel that evidence is mounting against him in his drunk driving case, a criminal defense lawyer can help him form the best strategy for his defense. Even in cases where convictions on some charges may not be avoided, experienced attorneys can seek to negotiate a favorable outcome and protect a defendant’s future. Charges, especially felonies, can have consequences regarding future employment, limit rental options and educational opportunities. It simply makes good sense to seek professional assistance with so much on the line.
